1.5 Years of R&D Process
After 1.5 years of R&D process, OSATECH team finally
developed OSM55 and OSM45 series air motors that can run
even at 1 bar air pressure. With their high power/weight ratio,
OSAMoto Air Motors can work efficiently even in toughest
conditions. We increased the performance with precision
machining techniques and low tolerances. In order not to
sacrifice lifetime of the motor, we increased durability by
using right raw material and heat treatment process. With
our special design we increased the durability of rotor blades
by 15%. With its 42mm diameter, our OSM55 series air motors
are one of the most powerful air motors comparing to the
ones with similar dimensions.
1.5 Million Cycle Tests
We test and measure performance and lifetime in our testing
lab. We ensure the lifetime of our products by testing each
part for 1.5 million cycles. Performance of all manufactured
motors are tested at 1, 2, 4 and 6 bar air pressure. Their
torque-power-speed data are stored according to serial
numbers. So we can ensure every OSAMoto Air Motor will
deliver full performance.
Low Pressure = Weakness
The ideal conditions for an air tool require 6.3 bar air pressure, enough hose and
pipe sizes for the air line, air conditioners such as FRL units, air dryers. As OSAKA
Pneumatic Tools, our 35 years of experience in the industry proved us that ideal PNEUMATIC
conditions are not always met in the production sites. Especially for the air motors
that are mounted on automations, it is hard to establish a standard for working
conditions. Low pressure is the biggest factor affecting air motor’s performance. MOTORS
Therefore, as OSATECH team, we made it our mission to develop an air motor that
can run smoothly even with the low air pressure.
Good Outputs Require Good Inputs
To obtain our mission, we established the OSATECH R&D and Technology Center at
the beginning of 2020. Our motto is “Good outputs require good inputs!”. In OSATECH
R&D and Technology Center, we are working with brands proven their quality all
over the world. We use CNC workbenches with highest precision abilities, tools and
holders with lowers vibration levels, raw materials and inserts with highest quality.
